Gus Atkinson further complicated the fitness woes of the England squad when he left the field during Saturday's play of the fourth Ashes Test against Australia.

Atkinson experienced discomfort in his left hamstring post-delivery in his spell on Saturday.

The England team stated Atkinson reported "discomfort" and would spend time off the field to undergo evaluation "over the next few hours".
