It's tough for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The top summits have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

It needed up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It is hard for their batters to hold a record if not afforded the possibility.

Once she was dismissed her side needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I am glad we have the belief to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if necessary, we believe we can succeed."

These statements will be the final thing rival teams at this World Cup need to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this victory succeeding success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.
