Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in an LA Car Crash
The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in California he was 55 years old.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The celebrated video game developer lost his life when his car crashed and burst into flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"This is a devastating loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
